We are forever grateful to our friend Floyd Takeuchi, journalist and photographer, for allowing the firm to showcase a small part of his beautiful work reflecting his magic touch behind the camera in our Micronesia region. Floyd was born in Majuro, and attended middle school in Saipan during the Trust Territory period. Floyd graduated from Boston University with a BS in journalism and later obtained an MA in Pacific Island studies from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

In the Chuuk photos attorney Kembo Mida accompanied Floyd around parts of the Chuuk lagoon and recalls, “We were in the boat and on the water shooting by 5 am to get the best natural light. It was an honor to accompany Floyd, and the pictures came out great highlighting our beautiful ocean and its people."
